Family Plumbing and Heating is your one-stop-shop for all plumbing and HVAC needs in Regina, Saskatchewan and surrounding areas. Prior to working with 1st on the List this client was looking to increase online visibility and increase the number of incoming service calls from homeowners. As a fairly young company the majority of their client base was friends, family and previous contacts but they needed a new source of leads to grow. Family Plumbing and Heating also wanted to move away from small repairs/low ticket invoices and into more lucrative jobs like HVAC installs.
With the desire to grow, Family Plumbing and Heating knew they needed to do something new and wanted to try SEO. They had been updating their social media profiles regularly and relying on friends and family for business. This certainly helped launch their business and get them off the ground but they had reached an impasse to make it to the next level in terms of call volume and new jobs.
First, we took their existing “Powered by WordPress.org” website and properly upgraded it to a search engine friendly and robust WordPress platform. The website is action-oriented and designed to have the visitor either call or request a quote in order to generate the steady stream of leads desired by Family Plumbing.
Next, we did a complete content rewrite to ensure the website fully represents their services, quality of workmanship, and reputation all while incorporating the right keywords and topics to help the website rank well.
Finally, once the website went live we launched a Local SEO Plan to improve and maintain keyword ranking positions like “plumbing Regina”, “plumbing and heating Regina” and “emergency plumber Regina” which provides a sustainable level of new leads each month.
Family Plumbing and Heating has experienced substantial growth over the last two years since their new website went live.
The company has grown from one part-time employee to now 5-6 full time employees with a workshop.
There has been a drastic increase in website inquiries this past summer compared to the previous summer (which was already increased from the summer before).
The quality of leads has also improved. Today, incoming website leads are from homeowners serious about having work done versus price comparison shoppers.
There has been steady growth in Organic Search traffic to the website which is contributing to the increased lead volume.
