Forrester Research has just released results from a study that shows Natural Search Engine Results (ie. Google search, Bing search, etc) is still the most popular way adults find websites they visit.
It is interesting to note that “sponsored Search Engine results” (ie. paid advertisements or pay per click marketing) grew by 10% this year although it still majorly trails the natural results you achieve through SEO efforts.
Social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter are growing in popularity while we see an 11% increase in emails from companies or brands driving traffic to websites.
